Our Process
Our spay and neuter process begins with a comprehensive consultation or wellness exam conducted by our veterinarian to assess your pet’s health and readiness for surgery. During this initial appointment, we assess that your pet is in optimal condition for the procedure. On the scheduled day of surgery, you’ll bring your pet in the morning for drop-off.
Our dedicated veterinary team performs the surgery with care, utilizing anesthesia monitoring to enhance your pet’s safety and comfort throughout the procedure. You can usually pick up your pet the same day as the procedure to allow them to heal from the comfort of your home. We prioritize your pet’s well-being at every step, providing compassionate care from admission to recovery.
Post Surgery Care
After the spay or neuter surgery, we provide comprehensive post-operative care to support your pet’s recovery. Your pet will receive pain medication to manage discomfort and enhance their comfort during healing. Additionally, we offer a cone, collar, or surgery shirt to prevent them from interfering with their incision site.
It’s essential to monitor your pet closely during the initial recovery period. As advised by our veterinary team, restrict their activity level to promote healing and prevent complications. Throughout this recovery phase, our team is available to address any concerns or questions regarding your pet’s post-operative care.
